155th place out of 215 finishers.  It was an amazing day, a beautiful day, and I've got nothing but great things to say about the race, the volunteers, and every other person I met on the course. I'm proud of myself. And while there is always the possibility that you could have done better (I really shouldn't have walked any of those last three downhill miles, say), I feel like I did my best.

Oh, I'm so happy that Mr. Bump was able to get such a flattering shot of my thighs for you all to see!
While the aid stations on the course were wonderful, and the volunteers were the best of any race I've ever done, I was fortunate enough to have my own cheering section comprised of my folks and my mother-in-law at the finish. And the best photographer/bell ringer/cheerleader a girl could ever hope to marry. Thanks Mr. Bump, for being the bright safety cone orange beacon for me to run toward. I love you, and I hope you know it.

Next stop, Portland!

You do rock, indeed! Yay you! Yay Mr. Bump for taking pictures, although I miss having one of your huge smile at the end.
